Garrett Cortese is the Editor-at-Large / Photo Editor of Alliance Wakeboard Magazine. He is pushing 30, a Sagittarius, and was recently called mirthful; although he has no idea what any of that means.  A graduate of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at CU Boulder, Garrett has spent time as a photographer in newsrooms, all over sidelines, and even in wedding chapels. Garrett calls Northern California home but has lived in Orlando since 2005 after being hired by Alliance full time. He enjoys traveling the globe on assignments, Cheez-Its, shooting at f1.4, iPhonetography, hanging out at home with his girlfriend Ginna, snow skiing, sarcasm, quoting movies, silhouette photos, and marshmallows. Garrett will only be your friend on Facebook if you’ve met or interacted with him in some way, shape or form; but he would be glad to have you “like” his photography page by clicking the Facebook logo down below. There are two quotes Garrett lives by. One from the book of Second Corinthians: “So we set our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen; for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” The other from himself to his mother after graduating college: “I don’t have a job, I have a lifestyle.”
